The studio "Habitational Seeds in Hong Kong's Odd Lots" uses drawings as an analytical, forensic tool, that allows to measure and understand spatial, ecological, social and economic conditions, as well as a tool for subjective, spatial immersion. By creating a catalogue of "odd lots" and of the emerging processes to identify and document them, students consider the environment, built habitat and bodies as mutual resources and thereby understand the impact and responsibilities of the proposed project on its social and natural environment, and implement and develop a site-specific typology of collective housing or related program.
